Lee Academy offers training to all levels of performers from complete beginners and as young as 18 months, right through to the highest levels attainable for professional dancers with our ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF DANCE certificate and Pro classes.

Lee Academy is a complete in house training and choreography academy, with a permanent group of core teachers ensuring consistent & predictable outcomes.

ABOUT US

Lee Academy is a dance studio, gymnastics/acrobatics & cheer-leading school, aerial arts training centre & vocational full-time course provider. We also offer a talent agency, in-house professional photographer, a professional dance company and Lee Academy college. Each department is highly specialised and completely dedicated to providing the very best in service and training, ensuring each & every one of our students realise their maximum potential.

Lee Academy’s objective is to inspire a passion for the performing arts in every student who passes through our doors. In the process, we strive to set the right example and help each student (and their parents/guardians) create memories that will last a lifetime.

★ PROGRAMS FOR 2YR – 6YR OLDS

With a major emphasis on fun and creating confident little people!

○ Babies & toddlers

Dancefun is our wonderful babies movement program for tiny tots & family to enjoy together. The Dancefun classes are open to all little ones from babies in arms to busy toddlers!

○ Jumpin" Jack JAZZ: Jazz & Hip-Hop : ages 2 years & up

Designed especially for Lee Academy by our experts, who have been running classes for this age group for over 25 years. Targeted at ages two years & up, the syllabus is divided into two distinct levels.

○ Bumblebee Ballet: ages 2 years & up

Designed especially for Lee Academy by our experts, with foundation training from the RAD ballet syllabus, this is a great ballet centered class in foundation classical ballet training.

○ Monkee Magick: ages 2 years & up

Designed especially for Lee Academy by our experts, these classes offer a safe, energetic & fully guided class in foundation training in acrobatics, tumbling & circus for our little ones to explore & enjoy.

○ General Junior Programs

The Lee Academy College for Years 7 - 12 age students is a program for dancers enrolled with Cairns School of Distance Education Dancers Program in Years 7 to 12 who display exceptional talent in the performing arts, combined with a commitment to completing their High School studies.
