Cameraman Frankie and the team at Learn to Film proudly present the Kids Film Workshop, a creative school holiday program designed for children aged 7 to 15 years. Held in our state-of-the-art studio in Parramatta, this 4.5-hour class introduces kids to the exciting world of video production—from the very first idea to the finished film. With fun examples and easy-to-understand terminology, children learn how to bring their imagination to life while gaining confidence and new skills.

📖 What Your Child Will Learn

Children will discover how to read and write their own screenplay, create storyboards, and experience the full process of importing, editing, and completing a video. They’ll get hands-on with cameras, audio, and support equipment, while also learning the fundamentals of lighting, composition, and filming. By the end of the workshop, every child walks away with the knowledge to turn their creative ideas into real films.
