Our surf programs are designed to cater for all surfing abilities, from complete beginner to advanced surfers!

⭐ Salty Groms

LEVEL: BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE

Salty Groms is the Gold Coast's leading holiday surf program for kids! Every lesson is tailored to the particular needs of the student from beginner to intermediate to ensure they are equipped with the skills to enjoy surfing for a lifetime.

⭐ Salty Kooks

LEVEL: BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

Salty Kooks caters to adults of all ages and ability levels to provide regular ongoing lessons for those that want to simply enjoy a weekly surf or otherwise take their surfing to the next level!

⭐ Private Lessons

LEVEL: BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

From one on one’s, large family groups or team building exercises, our private bookings offer the flexibility for intensive learning or otherwise a fun experience to enjoy with your team or loved ones.

⭐ Advanced Coaching

LEVEL: ADVANCED

Our advanced coaching ranges from advanced techniques to competitive heat drills with the option of filmed sessions or assistance from the water. Whether you're working on bottom turns or barrel riding, our advanced coaching sessions will help you reach the next level!

OUR LESSONS

⭐ ARRIVE FIFTEEN MINUTES EARLY

Arrive early to the surf van to sign in and be provided equipment. We leave the surf van on the dot (with five minutes wiggle room) to maximise water time.

⭐ WARM UP

All lessons include a five-to-ten-minute jog and stretch to ensure everyone is primed and ready to tackle the water.

⭐ TECHNIQUE

Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer we ensure that you’re constantly learning and improving in a fun and engaging environment.

⭐ HITTING THE WATER

The remainder of the lesson is spent surfing, working on technique, wiping out and most importantly, having fun!

⭐ LAST WAVES

Last waves are called with ten minutes left in the lesson with everyone making their way back to the van to pack up and reflect on all the epic waves and wipe-outs enjoyed!
