Kindaburra Pre School

Kindaburra is a family owned and operated early learning centre for children from birth to 6 years located in Matraville, Sydney.

The centre has been operational since 1999 and has a wide-ranging and experienced staff that lay the foundations for a safe and positive learning environment.

Saturday Care

The program is designed to provide an extension to the existing preschool / transition to school program.

Kindaburra Saturday Education & Fun Program is available for children who are interested to bring their child in for some concrete learning through play and fun.

The aim of the program is to deliver the most important learning to students with emphasis on the knowledge, skills and understandings (fundamental skills) needed to succeed beyond preschool. In planning and developing programs that meet the needs of students with varying ability levels and learning needs teachers draw on the detail provided in NSW Primary Curriculum Foundation Statements.

Kindaburra's outdoor environment is designed to:

Provide opportunities for both active and quiet play.

Give the children a chance to explore different textures and surfaces, natural shade and cosy places

Allow a wide range of activities from the sand pits to the bike track

Foster creativity, imagination and adaptability with respect to their surrounding environment

Huge bush playground

Three sandpits, one for each playgroup area

4 sectioned off designated playing areas that cater for each stage of development

Seperate Billabong area

An array of outdoor equipment, toys and tools that act as the catalyst for the children's physical and mental development
