ABOUT US

Kimekai is directly affiliated with the Australian Karate Federation (AKF). The AKF conducts routine inspections on all of Kimekai's dojos as well as its instructors to ensure that the tuition and organisation standard meets its strict membership criteria.

In addition, the affiliation to the AKF enables Kimekai members to compete at the highest level because the AKF is under the direction of the Olympic Committee as it debuts as an Olympic sport for the first time during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In addition, Kimekai is also affiliated to one of the world's most respected organisations, Kobe Osaka International under the direction of Sensei Tommy Morris. Sensei Morris conducts regular courses and gradings for all Kimekai students to attend, as well as specialised instructor courses to ensure the highest level of instruction and coaching.

Furthermore, Kimekai BJJ is under direct affiliation with Chief Instructor Peter deBeen, Pete is the founder (established in 1994) and President of the Australian Federation of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu - AFBJJ.
