JS Dance

JSDance is a boutique dance studio in Brisbane that has been fostering a love of dance since 1997. We believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students can grow, develop, and thrive, both as dancers and individuals. With over 25 years of experience, we take pride in offering high-quality training for students of all ages and skill levels.

Our philosophy focuses on supporting students through their relationships with teachers, friends, and themselves. We embrace a non-competitive, team-oriented approach where students learn the value of working together, training together, and performing together. Every child learns at their own pace, and our teaching methods are designed to reflect this understanding.

Our Classes cater to both recreational dancers and those looking to pursue more serious training. We offer a range of styles, including:

We support students through the RAD Ballet, Glenn Wood Tap, and ATOD Jazz & Acrobatic Arts syllabi, offering exams for Ballet and Tap (though these are optional). At the end of each year, students have the chance to showcase their progress in a concert.

Under the direction of long-time teacher and former student Joanne Horner, JSDance continues to uphold its core values, blending enjoyment with a balanced approach to training. We are committed to ensuring that all our teachers are fully qualified to work with young, growing bodies and minds.
