Since 2006 when we first started IMS we have always had the same philosophy about music and music tuition, that is that music has no boundaries and is an integral part of everyone’s lives.

Being musicians ourselves, we know first hand the important role music plays in the development of the brain, especially with young students.

Our unique teaching approach has been developed over the years from teaching thousands of students and presenting hundreds of live student concerts here at Intuition Music School on the Central Coast.

Our wholistic approach involves not only learning to read music and play musical instruments, but also includes live performance, motivation, confidence building and connection to our community.

All of our dedicated teachers are experienced and qualified music teachers who work together as a team at IMS every term to give our students the best possible “full circle” musical education through practical experience.

Our end of term concerts are conducted in a way that allows students to learn from their mistakes and grow and are considered to be part of a students learning experience.

It’s not compulsory to perform at our concerts if students feel they are not ready or simply too nervous, it is totally the students decision to participate if they wish to.

We currently have students from 4 years old to 90 years old with many of our students going on to become successful musicians and music teachers worldwide.
