Inner City Tigers

🐯 About us

Inner City Tigers is a vibrant basketball community founded in 2023 by Coach Jason Bateman to meet the growing demand for fun, engaging skills training in Sydney’s inner west. With experience playing representative basketball and learning under elite mentors, Jason brings both passion and expertise to every session. Our programs are designed for kids aged 6–16, helping them get fit, build confidence, and discover the joy of basketball in a supportive environment.

🎯 Our Mission

We aim to inspire kids to love the game while learning values that last a lifetime—teamwork, resilience, and hard work. By blending professional coaching with gamified training, we make sure every child feels encouraged, challenged, and excited to step onto the court.

🏀 Our Programs

* Junior Teams (U10–U16) – Boys and girls compete in real weekly games, with skill‑based team placement and pathways for advanced players.

* Skill Training Sessions – Small group classes focused on fundamentals like dribbling, shooting, passing, and defence, with gamified drills that keep kids moving and smiling.

* Tuesday Academy (Indoor) – Premium stadium training at Leichhardt (Sydney Secondary College) for focused skill development.

* Thursday Fundamentals (Outdoor) – Relaxed, fresh‑air sessions at Campsie Public School.

* Friday Academy (Indoor) – Premium stadium training at Concord Oval for focused skill development.

* School Holiday Camps – Full‑day programs with drills, games, competitions, and even craft activities, ensuring kids stay active and engaged during the break.

💖 Why families love us

Parents appreciate the patient coaching, small group attention, and the balance of fun and hard work. Kids love the gamified challenges, the thrill of competition, and the friendships they build. Families value the safe, inclusive environment where every child can grow both on and off the court.

✨ Helping kids shine through basketball—one skill, one smile, one game at a time.
