ABOUT ME

>> My Beginnings

As far back as i can remember, i have always enjoyed art. It wasn't until high school however, with the guidance of some really great art teachers, that i discovered my true passion for it. As with many teenagers, I had my own struggles in life and i would often visit the art room to unwind and draw, or paint and get lost in the lines, form, and colour.

As I developed my skills and moved onto University, i studied Architecture at the University of Auckland for 3 years before deciding to major in design at Auckland University of Technology. With my degree I quickly found a job overseas and was content working as an Architect for 10 years. I had my own family by this time, and with my children as my priority I moved to Sydney to be a stay at home mum for a couple years before deciding to pursue my passion once more, opening up my very own small art studio.

I now enjoy teaching kids aged 5+ art and craft, and aim to inspire them the way my art teachers once had.
