Ignite Dance Co. is more than just a dance studio. It is a place of creativity, a place where friendships are made, a place where life long lessons are learnt and for many, a second home.

We aim to not only provide high quality dance training but also, to create artists – young people who are open minded, creative and confident.

Taking students from the age of 2, we cater our classes to suit each age group and what they can gain from dance. Whilst our pre-school classes are focused on expanding imaginations and basic coordination, our seniors experience everything dance has to offer, including exposure to a wide range of styles, improvisation skills, competitions, auditions and more. You can do as much or as little as you like!

Ignite offers the best of both worlds as we definitely have students who attend once a week, just for fun but also have many students who choose to train a few days a week with the aim of further developing their dance skills. We do however train all our students with the same expectation, that regardless of their ability, they will work as hard as possible and with as much passion as possible while at the studio.

We follow the RAD syllabus for ballet, which is the most well known and respected ballet syllabus in the world. We offer exam classes for those who want to take their ballet to the next level. We believe that ballet is the core of all dance styles and so we always encourage our students to take ballet (of course there is no pressure if they are more of a Hip Hop kid!). Our other classes follow our own studio syllabus, formulated and constantly updated by our teachers.

Early Childhood Dance Program

At Ignite Dance Co., we regard instilling a love for dance in students as one of our most important jobs. Our dance program for students in their preschool years does just that, and more! Programmed by an early childhood professional, our preschool dance programs are regularly updated to enhance your child’s creativity and develop co-ordination in a fun, friendly environment.
