It’s important to know we are not just kids DJs. We are highly skilled entertainers. Our discos are very structured. Within every song there is a challenge, activity or dance for the kids to learn. It’s a very engaging disco event where kids are attentive to their host. Our activities vary party to party and what music and games we choose will depend on the interests of the birthday child. Your host will have a chat to the birthday child during setup time to discover their likes and dislikes in the world of music.
All parties include learning dances, many games and a few little friendly competitions.
Your host will arrive 10-15 minutes before the party start time to set up. They will have speakers, a microphone and awesome disco lights with them.
A two hour disco consists of 2 x 50 minute dance sessions with a much needed 20 minute food and drink break in the middle.
A one hour disco consists of 2 x 25 minute sessions with a 10 minute fruit and drink break in the middle.
We recommend you have these foods and refreshments ready to go for your scheduled break time to ensure a smooth transition from session 1 to session 2.
You also have the option to add a structured cake cutting free of charge. This means that your host will bring the children over to the cake table in the last 10 mins of the party. The children will sing happy birthday and then your host will prompt the children back to the dance floor for the last couple songs to give you a quiet minute to cut and serve the cake. Once finished the children will sit down and eat their cake while they wait for their parents to arrive.
It really is a very seamlessly structured event, giving you, the parent, the opportunity to take photos, chat with parents, and relax while watching all the children enjoy your child’s event!
