Our mission is to provide a passionate and professional martial arts teaching service.
We provide our students with a first class experience in martial arts. We focus on improving our student’s self-confidence, self-esteem and aptitude through martial arts.
We accept Sports School Vouchers.
Our Head Instructor Tom Lowe is a 5th Dan Taekwondo Black belt with over 25 years’ experience. Tom is a former state champion, National medallist and has competed internationally, he can use this along with 10 years’ experience in teaching and coaching to benefit our students.
We aim to create a family friendly and inclusive environment where children and adults alike feel comfortable to push themselves and learn new skills.
OUR CLASSES
⭐ Mini Rangers (3-5 years old)
The Mini Rangers program is a martial arts program that focuses on building a strong foundation for young students. The drills and exercises target coordination, balance and flexibility whilst teaching the principals of martial arts; respect and discipline. The students in this program learn the basics of martial arts and focus on building their confidence through a fun and supported environment.
⭐ Kickstar Kids (6-8 years old)
The focus of this class is for students to develop and master the basics of Taekwondo through focussing on gross motor skills and coordination. We establish individual techniques and then combine them together into a martial arts system. We also teach boxing and escaping some basic grabs. The benefits of this class is more than just physical, this class will also help nurture and develop self confidence and self esteem.
⭐ Juniors (9-12 years old)
This class starts kids on their path towards a black belt. The focus of this class is for students to learn and master the basic to intermediate skills of Martial Arts (Blocks, stances, footwork, Kicks, punches and strikes) which will help increase the child’s co-ordination, balance, flexibility and agility. The core of the program is based around traditional Taekwondo with elements of Olympic style Sport Taekwondo, boxing and self defence. Through participation in this class our students will also gain resilience, perseverance, self confidence and self esteem as they progress through the ranks.
⭐ Seniors (13+ years old)
Ideal for teenagers and adults this class is designed to not just teach you Taekwondo but give you a good physical and mental workout and can be a great stress reliever after a day of work/school. In this class we aim to assist our students to improve their co-ordination, balance, flexibility, agility and general fitness. The core of the program is based around traditional Taekwondo with elements of Olympic style Sport Taekwondo, boxing and self defence. Through participation in this class our students will also gain resilience, perseverance, self confidence and self esteem as they progress through the ranks.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The nationally accredited ‘Mini Rangers’ program is specifically designed for kids in their formative years and developed using the Early Years Learning Framework. Mini Rangers focuses on not only developing agility, balance co-ordination but also attitude, Behaviour and Confidence of its participants. Which can assist them in their transition to school.
For centres this program can help give your centre a point of difference. Our instructors have many years of experience in the ELC setting and have DHS working with children clearances.
