The Gallery aims to develop and enhance the diverse culture of the region through dynamic exhibition, education and collection programs.

The Grafton Regional Gallery is a source of of community inspiration, delivering a vibrant and innovative program of exhibitions, events, workshops and outreach education. The Gallery enriches your well-being, gets you involved, is visionary, unexpected and amazing in every way.

The Gallery was established in 1988 as a place of arts awareness, education and support for arts practitioners. It has evolved to play an important role in building community resilience, reflecting our sense of place and telling local stories through the visual arts. As is typical of many regional galleries, the Gallery has undergone several stages of restoration and redevelopment on its current site over three decades.

★ Young Creatives

○ Art After School - Term 2, Surrealist Kidz with Kade Valja

Create fantastical and dreamlike images to build your own individual artworks and stories with Kade. Suitable for ages 7 through to 15 years.

○ Art After School - Term 3, Makin' Memes with Chloe Waters

Makin Memes, is designed for kids of all ages to work with a range of “old school” art making techniques including collage.

★ Little SmARTies

Returning in 2022, this monthly program is for under-fives their parents and carers. Little SmARTies is a morning of creative fun, music and play consisting of a mixture of three complementary components across each session: a guided tour of the exhibition on show, a creative activity in the studio gallery and a live music session.
