Flying Yogis started out as “Bendybods” classes at Prana Space Yoga Studio in Rose Bay in 2004. As our programmes morphed and grew via our inspiring teachers and students, we became the Flying Yogis. We now operate in various locations around Sydney and are expanding.
We have created unique programmes that incorporate yoga’s mindfulness with Gym and Acro’s agility and coordination for kids. This gives your children fun ways to gain all the tools needed to cope with our hectic lives: focus; trust; confidence; cooperation; self-esteem, awareness; resilience and fearlessness in a completely non-competitive environment. We work in with physios; O.T.s; psychologists and other therapists to help children with specific needs and are well respected by these groups as a diverting and fun adjunct to their work.
Our team of inspiring teachers come from various backgrounds; gym; dance; child psychology; education. Our trainings are rigorous. We aim to create the kind of teachers that bring out your child’s personal best.
Most of all, whether you come weekly to courses; attend our holiday workshops; come to a Birthday party, have flying yogis teach at your school; or as an adult become part of our team and do our teacher training; you will have a fun and joyful experience.

- The Flying Yogi Birthday Party - 90 minutes
Cost:
$600 for 1 – 20 children
$30 per child for 21+ children.
This active kids birthday party is filled with yoga, dance, tumbling, acro, gymnastics circuits and games. These parties start from as young as 2 years up as our programmes are tailored to suit each age group and level of concentration and maturity.
- The Ninja Yogi - 90 minutes
Cost:
$600for 1 – 20 children
$30 per child for 21 + children
This party is a variation of our classic ‘Flying Yogi’ party with yoga, acro and Ninja-themed activities. With obstacle courses, Ninja-style challenges and team activities your child can test their Ninja Skills! These parties start from as young as 2 years up as our programmes are tailored to suit each age group and level of concentration and maturity.
- The Disco Yogi - 90-120 minutes

$760 for 1 – 20 children
$38 per child for 21 + children
First 50 mins is our classic Flying Yogis Party- Yoga; Gymnastics; Games & Dance. Then about 25 minutes for snack break and cakes. Then- Let’s Party! 30-40 mins where our dj will play an awesome pop and disco playlist that can include your child’s favourite songs!!! Dance like nobody is watching!! Limbo; Macarena; Nutbush City Limits; Musical Bumps & Statues; Hip Hop dance offs; congo lines… the sky is the limit!
TAILOR YOUR PARTY! ADD ACTIVITIES OR THEMES THAT YOUR CHILD LOVES! NO PARTY’S EVER THE SAME!
- Art Parties - 120 minutes

At Flying Yogis- mindfulness comes in multiple forms. As well as our yoga; agility and acrobatics- we love a good art project to sink our teeth into. At our Art Birthday parties- we start with yoga/ dance/ gym & games… then, while the children are having a snack and some cake- we set the venue up to be an art studio. We have a range of art projects to chose from- all of them with a recycling/ sustainability or cooperation amongst friends theme.
- Natural Beauty Birthday Party - 120 minutes
Cost:
$760 for 1 – 20 children
$38 per child for 21 + children
This is a fun, party for children over the age of 8 years which also teaches tween/teen children how to look after themselves in a natural and healthy way. We begin with yoga and acro activities before we start two activities of your choice from the following:
» Chocolate making (perennial crowd pleaser)
» Bath Bomb making
» Natural Face-Masks with kitchen ingredients (all allergies taken into account)
» Bath/Body scrub making & ‘upcycling’ jars to contain them (extra charge for some materials; see below)
» Crystals & Angel card readings
- Ready Steady Glow Disco - 120 minutes (Must be held around sunset!)
Please note we can only really do glow parties for 9yrs and older as they run quite late in the evening.

First 35 mins is our classic Flying Yogis Party- Yoga; Gymnastics; Games & Dance. Then about 25 minutes for snack break and cakes and fluoro face painting (and if you bring white t-shirts then the kids can decorate them with fluoro fabric markers). Then- Let’s GLOW WITH THE FLOW! 30-40 mins where our dj will play an awesome pop and disco playlist that can include your child’s favourite songs!!! With our special glow in the dark lighting. Dance like nobody is watching!! Limbo; Macarena; Nutbush City Limits; Musical Bumps & Statues; Hip Hop dance offs; congo lines… the sky is the limit!
- Hip Hop & Dance Birthday Parties - 120 minutes.

Get your buddies together, let us know your fave song to dance to; learn a fun routine, throw in some solo and partner acro moves and let’s Jam! . Some of our Gurus are professional dancers, and their Hip Hop/ Street Dance classes are so much fun!

Prefer your party in the park? or at your home? Our Guru’s can come out to you in our Groovy Party Mobile. We carry our mini gymnasium and all our fun activities with us! We offer our standard party or any of our other party themes at your venue of choice. These parties start from as young as 2 years up as our programmes are tailored to suit each age group and level of concentration and maturity.
