Figtree Auskick Centre

Figtree Australian Football Club is a vibrant, family orientated organisation playing in the Illawarra region on the South Coast of New South Wales.

The club has both junior and senior teams for both male and female players under a single club banner and prides itself on its motto of Family, Fun, Footy.

About our Club

Figtree AFC is a single entity club that caters for kids playing Auskick all the way to seniors playing First Grade.

We are proudly unique in this fact among our local peers and believe it has a lot to do with the sucess of our family centred culture throughout the entire club.

At Figtree we exist to enjoy sport. RACE, COLOUR OR CREED does not exist at Figtree Australian Football Club. We are all equal. We provide a fun family environment for players and their families to enjoy the benefits of involvement in team sport. We welcome all players and their families to the Figtree AFC Kangaroos, especially those joining us for the first time.

History of our Club

Figtree AFC were established as the Western Kangaroos and have grown from 45 junior players in their first year 1999, to over 330 registered junior and senior male and female players in 2020.

​In 2015 the junior and senior clubs became a single entity under a new constitution which has enhanced our club immensely.
