Empower Me Program

Empower Me Program is a local not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being and healthy development of children and young people aged 8–17. Based in the community and running programs across the Illawarra to Ulladulla, Empower Me Program creates safe, supportive and inspiring experiences that help kids grow into confident, resilient and kind individuals.

Each year, the Empower Me Program delivers a range of programs, workshops and retreats designed especially for children and youth. These experiences are built around four core values: Connection, Kindness, Resilience and Self-esteem. Through positive relationships, meaningful activities and caring mentors, children are encouraged to better understand themselves, build strong friendships and develop practical life skills they can carry into everyday life.

With a strong focus on nature, sustainability and the creative arts, programs are carefully planned by qualified and experienced mentors to be fun, engaging and age-appropriate. Activities are designed to support children’s physical health, mental wellbeing and emotional growth, while giving them space to explore, express themselves and feel a sense of belonging. Being outdoors and creative helps kids slow down, reconnect and build confidence in a natural, relaxed environment.

The Empower Me Program also hosts fundraising events throughout the year, with all funds raised going directly back into the organization. This ensures future programs and projects can continue to support local children and families who need it most.

At its heart, Empower Me Program is driven by a clear and compassionate goal: to reduce mental illness in children and youth across the Shoalhaven. By giving young people the tools, support and encouragement they need early in life, Empower Me Program is helping families raise stronger, happier and more resilient kids within their local community.
