About Us

From a Small Idea to a National Vision

Einsteins Australia began in Perth in 2010 with a simple goal: to give children a fun, exciting alternative to traditional birthday parties.

What started with a few boxes of science equipment, a trestle table and a passion for creating memorable experiences has grown into a thriving business delivering science programs to thousands of children across Australia.

Along the way, we've expanded from birthday parties into schools, childcare centres, OSHC programs and community events, continually creating new experiences based on what families, educators and children have asked for.

Our Journey

The business began during a challenging period in our Director Fiona's lift. After health issues forced her to leave her career as a trainer in emergency rescue, mine site inductions and workplace health and safety, Fiona found herself searching for a new direction.

Then an opportunity appeared: a small children's science business for sale.

With the support of her family and wonderful friend Lisa, Fiona took a leap of faith.

The plan was simple. Fiona would manage the bookings and Lisa would run the parties.

What happened next exceeded all expectations.

Families loved what we were doing and kept asking for more. New ideas became new programs. One party became hundreds. Then thousands.

We listened, learned, adapted and continued growing.

Building Opportunities

One of the things we're most proud of is the opportunities we've created for young people.

Many of our team members began as junior staff during school holidays before progressing through university and into careers as:

Growing with Education

In 2012, we expanded into curriculum-linked school programs and began working closely with teachers to create engaging science incursions that support classroom learning.

Since then, we've continued to develop new workshops and experiences that align with educational outcomes while keeping the excitement, wonder and hands-on discovery that children love.

Looking Ahead

In 2020, we took the exciting step of becoming full independent and launched Einsteins Australia.

This gave us the freedom to innovate, create new programs and make it easier for customers to explore, enquire and book online.

Today, our vision is bigger than ever.

We're building a national network of passionate science communicators, educators and presenters who share our love of science, learning and inspiring children.

Because every child deserves the change to experience the wonder of discovery.
