SWIMMING CLASSES

⭐ Parents and Babies

Class for babies aged 4-6 months up to 2 years old (depending on their ability and development). Mum or dad is in the pool with their baby. Your baby (and you!) will learn the basic introduction to water safety, including familiarity with being in water and going underwater. These classes are done to nursery rhymes and sing song to make it fun and enjoyable.

⭐ Learn to Swim

Class for children aged 2 years plus. We focus on learning the basic swimming strokes and water safety. Best of all, we have lots of fun along the way.

⭐ Stroke Development (Squad)

Class for children who have learnt the basic strokes and water safety. Children will perfect their swimming strokes and build their fitness in the water. Each class has 2 teachers, to ensure personalised instruction.

⭐ Children with Disabilities

Class which focuses just on providing personal and caring teaching for children with disabilities.

Classes at Debbie’s Learn to Swim are fun for everyone. We only ever have a maximum of 2 classes running at one time, so it's always nice and quiet. Small class sizes means your child or baby will receive individual, caring attention.

ABOUT US

Debbie's Learn to Swim is a swimming school which has been helping our local kids get comfortable in the water for 20 years. We are based in Karana Downs, near Ipswich.

We are a home-based business with full facilities - including a toilet, shower, babies change table, water cooler and a seating area for the parents. Our heated pool is always at the perfect temperature and is also shaded to protect your kids from the sun.

Our classes are held 6 days per week. Each class has limited numbers, as we believe small class sizes are the best way for kids to learn.

Our Staff

Debbie has been a local swim teacher for 20 years. All our staff are AUSTSWIM qualified and are passionate about teaching children swimming skills that could save their life.

Our swimming teachers are also qualified and experienced in helping children with disabilities learn to swim.
