Founded in 2006 with just 20 students, Deanne Fordham School of Dance (DFSD) has grown into one of the longest‑running studios in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. Today, over 200 students learn in our purpose‑built Oakleigh studio, where children of all ages are welcomed into a supportive, encouraging environment.

* Ballet – AICD Borovansky syllabus and Progressing Ballet Technique, fostering strong technique and artistry.

* Jazz, Tap & Hip Hop – Fun, energetic classes following APDA and IDT syllabi, with opportunities for exams and teacher qualifications.

* Contemporary Dance – Fluid, expressive movement with optional APDA Lucidity examinations.

* Acrobatics – Builds strength, flexibility, and tumbling skills from beginner to advanced.

* Pre‑School Program (Dainty Dancers) – Specially designed for 3–4‑year‑olds, introducing ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and creative play with props.

* Acting & Musical Theatre – Classes in stage and screen acting, private singing lessons, and triple‑threat training in singing, dancing, and acting.

* Adult Classes – Ballet, contemporary, and tap for fitness, strength, and enjoyment.

* Studio Talent Collective – Our in‑house talent agency representing dancers, actors, and creatives for TV, film, stage, and commercials.
