Dance World

Here at Dance World we provide a friendly, safe and positive environment for our students ranging from 2-16yrs.

Our experienced teachers are nurturing, giving confidence and support to your child. We promote a sense of community and respect and enjoy seeing the long lasting friendships our students make.

To date Dance World has taught thousands to dance Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Ballroom and Latin. The phenomenal success is due to a team effort with fabulous teachers - most of whom have been with Dance World for over 15 years, which is testimony in itself. All in all, a happy family institution has been created where students can learn the joy of dance at whatever level suits them.

Dance World has the advantage of longevity and experience, and we are always evolving to meet new trends and the needs of our students.

CHILDREN'S CLASSES

★ Jazz

Jazz combines physical exercise and performance skills. In Jazz classes children develop their motor abilities, coordination and flexibility. Classes provide an aerobic exercise that strengthens the heart plus the overall strength of the legs, torso and arms. Strengthening of back and abdominal muscles also helps promote correct posture.

★ Ballet

Ballet is another world!

All children should be encouraged to do Ballet to give them the best technically based start to dance. Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) syllabus is used and exams are offered but are not compulsory.

★ Tap

Great for boys and girls who like the exciting rhythms of tap music, both classic and modern. Also essential training for those interested in a musical career. Tap is great for everyone!

All classes break for the school holidays and resume the first Monday of the new Term.

Costs

30 min class $6.50 + GST = $7.15

45 min class $9.27 + GST = $10.20

60 min class $11.00 + GST = $12.10

75 min class $13.27 + GST = $14.60

90 min class $15.50 + GST = $17.05

Discounts are given for multiple classes.
