Starting piano at age 10, Graham completed his Associate Music Award (A.MUS.A) in classical piano before branching into bands and live performance. He has toured extensively across Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Queensland, and performed with jazz, rock, and tribute bands. In Melbourne, he regularly played solo piano gigs at hotels, corporate events, and functions.
