🏄 School Holiday Surf Programs for Kids

Give your children something exciting and confidence‑boosting to do during the holidays! Our safe surfing program is designed especially for kids as young as 6. They’ll learn ocean awareness, surf safety and board‑riding skills in a fun, supportive environment. Starting on the sand, kids discover how to read waves, rips and currents, before practising paddling and standing techniques in waist‑deep water. By the end, they’ll have not only new surfing skills but also a lifelong respect for the ocean.

Perfect for beginners of all ages, our group lessons at Rainbow Bay get kids (and parents too!) standing on their boards within the first 20 minutes. Gentle rolling waves make learning safe and fun, while our friendly instructors stay in the water the whole time to guide and encourage.

👨‍👩‍👧 Beginner Private Group Lessons

Families or small groups can enjoy a more personal surfing adventure together. With 2–10 participants, these private sessions are packed with tips, waves and laughter. Rainbow Bay’s safe conditions make it the ideal spot for kids to start their surfing journey alongside parents or friends.
