Also known as combat archery or archery tag, dodge ball meets the Hunger Games. In this action-packed adrenaline sport you get all the excitement of paintball without the physical pain.

Our specially designed equipment allows you to shoot soft foam tipped arrows at your friends safely, so you can get on with winning the day!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We start with a short training session so you can get a feel for the bow and hone your shooting skills.

Then it’s onto the field for the tournament: Two archery teams go head-to-head in an adrenaline-filled tournament experience. You’ll play several short intense games under the management of our fantastic instructors.

The rules are similar to tag or dodgeball in a dog-eat-dog fight to victory:

○ If your arrow connects with an opponent they are out of the game.

○ If you catch an arrow mid-flight then the bowman is out of the game.

There is limited cover, but if you hide away the opposition can take out your target and claim victory.

So get out there, duck and dodge your way around the hailstorm of arrows, and use your bow skills to become a Comrade Archery legend and win the day!

OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Comrade Archery games and sessions have been developed to meet the needs of outdoor education programs as it implements learnings like teamwork, resilience, courage and strategy among others. Sessions are catered to the individual groups with game sequences organised to reflect the progression and desired learning outcomes of the group. Comrade Archery is an inclusive sport that engages players of differing strengths and skill levels to fulfil the multiple roles needed for team victory.

With our strong outdoor education background Comrade Archery instructors hold blue cards and are qualified experienced instructors that are trained to keep the games safe, fun and flowing. The equipment we use is the safest and industry standard that has been tested and held up to many hours of live action.

SAFE TARGET ARCHERY

Not quite ready to battle it out but still want to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow?

Learning how to shoot a bow and arrow is a very fun and safe sport and with our foam tipped arrows we can set up anywhere including indoors and teach your group basic archery skills and play different game modes like Pizza, Shoot for Prizes, Zombie Attack and more.
