Chinese Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy

🥋 Authentic Kung Fu for Every Age

At the Chinese Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy, we’ve been helping families in Perth discover the benefits of martial arts for decades. Whether your child is just starting school, navigating the challenges of adolescence, or you’re looking for a positive outlet yourself, our academy offers programs that build confidence, discipline and resilience in a safe, supportive environment.

⭐ Preschoolers Kung Fu (5–6½ yrs)

Our youngest students learn focus, co-ordination, self-discipline and self-defence—skills that set them up for a happy, well-adjusted life.

⭐ Children’s Kung Fu (6½–11 yrs)

For over 20 years, our kids’ program has helped children grow into strong, confident individuals. With a focus on anti-bullying, self-esteem and positive energy release, kids learn to channel their energy productively while building character.

⭐ Teenagers Kung Fu (11–14 yrs)

Kung Fu empowers teens with courage, perseverance, self-control and confidence. Our program strengthens both body and mind, helping students excel academically, socially and personally.

💪 A Legacy of Martial Arts

Founded by George Michielsen in 1995, our academy preserves the traditional art of Choy Lay Fut Buk Sing Kung Fu. With branches in Balcatta and O’Connor, we’ve grown into a thriving community, welcoming visits from world-renowned Masters and witnessing countless positive transformations in our students.
