Music engages both hemispheres of the brain. Get your brain in gear by learning an instrument. Ask Central Coast Music Therapy if music lessons are meant for you.
Music is fun. It nurtures creativity and self-expression. Learning music encourages good listening and comprehension while improving memory and concentration.
Through instrument exploration, clients/students will gain an understanding of instruments and experience a wide range of musical styles. The experiences gained through music develop physical, cognitive, psychological and social benefits for the individual. Some benefits of learning an instrument include:

Our staff is able to provide traditional music lessons on a range of instruments including:

Music alone has an incredible power to make changes. It can slow a heart rate, lower anxiety, improve mood, help create social connections and much more.
It has been scientifically proven that music crosses multiple regions of the brain and creates neural pathways which can be of benefit to many individuals. These includes those with: developmental delays; speech and language problems; cerebral palsy; autism spectrum disorder; intellectual, physical or emotional disabilities.
