Fifteen years ago, on March 15th, 2002, the Centro de Ensino Camugerê Capoeira was established in Itapuã, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Founded by Mestre Tosta, along with his friends and students, the institution introduced a novel approach to teaching Capoeira, with a primary focus on children from private schools.
