Blue Mountains Basketball Association

Blue Mountains Basketball is a welcoming, community-focused organization that uses basketball as a positive way to support children, teens and adults in staying active, building confidence and forming strong social connections. With a strong belief in inclusion, the club welcomes players of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels, creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy the game and grow at their own pace.

As a non-profit organization, Blue Mountains Basketball places people first. Programs are designed to teach basketball skills while also encouraging important life values such as teamwork, respect, sportsmanship and discipline. Coaches and leaders act as positive role models, helping young players develop not only on the court, but also in confidence, communication and wellbeing.

The club runs three age-based competitions during school terms, making it easy for families to find a suitable option:

• U10 & U12 on Saturday mornings,

• U14–18 on Friday evenings, and

• Adults on Tuesday evenings.

In addition, the club offers development programs and holiday clinics, perfect for kids who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, safe and encouraging setting.

For children or teens who are new to basketball or don’t yet have a team, the Skill Builder Program is a fantastic starting point. This program focuses on skill development and social games, helping players build confidence, make friends and prepare to join a team when they’re ready. Families can join this program at any time, making it flexible and stress-free.
