Since 1992, BKJ Martial Arts has been helping families across Sydney discover the benefits of martial arts. With locations in Roselands and West Pennant Hills, our school is led by Dr George Adams (Hanshi) and a team of expert instructors who are passionate about guiding students of all ages towards confidence, fitness, and practical self-defence skills.

We believe martial arts is more than just kicks and punches – it’s about building life skills that last. From age 4 and up, children learn discipline, focus, and resilience in a safe, supportive environment. Parents love that their kids not only get active but also develop leadership, listening skills, and the ability to set and achieve goals.

✨ Kids Karate

Our Kids Karate programme is designed to make every child feel like a champion. Through fun, structured classes, children gain confidence, improve coordination, and learn respect – all while having a great time.

💪 Bullyproof Programme

Bullying is a real concern for families, and our Bullyproof training equips kids with the tools to stand tall. By teaching awareness, confidence, and practical strategies, we help children feel safe and empowered to handle challenging situations.

🤼 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Available for ages 8–19, this programme teaches smart techniques like sweeps, throws, and joint locks to help smaller individuals defend themselves against bigger opponents. It’s a fantastic way for teens to build strength, strategy, and self-belief.

At BKJ Martial Arts, we’re proud to offer Reality Based Defence (RBD) – a unique approach that prepares students for real-life situations, not just classroom drills. Our focus is on helping families feel secure, strong, and confident together.
