We place strong emphasis on classical ballet training, while also introducing students to character, modern, and national styles for variety and extension. To keep things exciting, we also offer Jazz, Contemporary, and Tap, ensuring children develop a well‑rounded dance education. Through these classes, students build technique, strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, self‑discipline, and good posture—skills that benefit them both in dance and everyday life.

Founded by Robbyn Garrett‑Doyle, Avant Ballet Studio is led by a teacher with over 30 years of experience in dance and performance. Robbyn holds Licentiate status with the Cecchetti Society and a Bachelor of Education, bringing both professional dance expertise and teaching experience from kindergartens and schools across Australia and overseas. With her background in theatre, film, pantomime, and television, Robbyn brings a rich perspective to every class.

Supporting her is a team of highly skilled specialist teachers who share her passion for dance. Together, they provide a caring, professional, and positive approach that inspires students of all ages to grow, learn, and shine.
