Aussie Kids Karate is a program specially designed for young students aged 4–12 years, giving children the chance to learn, grow and have fun in a safe, structured environment.

Children enjoy earning Merit Badges, taking part in exciting Gladiator Games, and progressing through Grading & Competitions. These activities keep kids motivated, engaged, and proud of their achievements.

💡 About Us

The program is based on Renbukan Karate, a traditional Shito‑Ryu style introduced to Australia in 1974 by Japanese Karate Master Mr Katsumi Iba. Alongside learning the basics of martial arts, kids are introduced to self‑defence skills, strategies, and even martial arts weapons—all taught in a way that’s age‑appropriate and fun.

Led by Chief Instructor Shihan Mike Jordan (5th Dan Black Belt), who has over 45 years of martial arts experience, Aussie Kids Karate is supported by a team of qualified teachers who know how to bring out the best in every child. Many families have trained across generations, making the program a true community.
