Audrey French Immersion

Brunswick East 3057 VIC

French tutor specialised in VCE students, adults (all levels) and teaching intensive course.

What do we do?

Lessons are mainly conducted via Zoom.

⭐ One on one lessons:

For beginners to advanced level. The one on one lessons are tailored to each individual who looks for improving in areas where they need to work on. It can be in speaking, listening, grammar structure or sometimes just a little bit of boost of confidence. These lessons are really beneficial as they focus on specific areas.

I rarely use grammar books or follow a book in that matter, I prefer to use my own sources which are specific learning materials, very interesting magazines for English learners, CDs, videos, games and everyday life articles etc.

⭐ Group lessons:

For beginners to advanced level. Group lessons are great if you have a group of friends who would like to start together or if you prefer to join a group. Group lessons are mainly focusing on listening, reading and speaking as it is more interactive and fun. Once again I rarely use a grammar book or follow a book, I always use my own materials, specific English learners materials, CDs, videos, games and articles.

⭐ VCE lessons:

VCE students have to focus on different areas.

Writing: I will help them to understand, learn and act upon on their grammar, sentence structures, spelling in order to achieve well in the writing exam or SACs.

Reading: I will give them some keys to know and understand how to excel at the reading exams.

Listening: I will give them keys to work on their listening and how to achieve well at it. WE will make sure listening is a big part of each lesson as it is the only way to progress in that specific area.

Speaking: I will help them to structure their speaking exams, make sure they have the right ideas, right pronunciation and be confident at it.

⭐ Intensive course:

Intensive courses are ideal for a full immersion to improve conversation skills, grammar catch up or any other area. It can be two hours a day over a week or two.

ABOUT AUDREY

Bonjour tout le monde,

I am Audrey, born and raised in the north west side of France, in a little town called Chartres, famous for its beautiful cathedral. After finishing studying in France, I lived in England for a year to improve my English. I discovered my passion for travelling so I decided to visit beautiful Australia where I fell in love with the culture, the wildlife and the colourful landscape. I successfully passed a TESOL diploma which allows me to teach both English and French. I taught English for over a year back in France in 2009 and then moved back to Melbourne in 2010 where I have been teaching French ever since.

Every lesson is tailored to the requirement of the student. I particularly love focusing on speaking and listening as they are the main abilities to master in order to have a fluent conversation with native speakers.

If learning a language has been on your to do list for a while or you think you need to get back into it after having a break or whether you need a French native to help you out with conversation, grammar, specific needs such as an intensive travel course, work related etc. I would be more than happy to help you.
