ABOUT OUR STUDIO

Ashley Albert Performing Arts has been opened since 2010. The Studio strives to provide a safe, healthy and happy environment where students can come and share a common passion for dance.

The studio has had various achievements such as winning the title of Overall Best Jacaranda Float of 2014, all students who completed their RAD exams passed, competition teams have competed at multiple eisteddfods receiving outstanding results as well as having successfully put on an end of year concert since 2010 which have all received excellent feedback.

Dance is an art form, which benefits each child in numerous ways, from social and leadership skills to fitness benefits. Dance is an educational and artistic outlet which is enriched by a safe and healthy environment such as Ashley Albert Performing Arts.

Ultimately Ashley Albert Performing Arts is home to many, with a door always open. The main objective is to cater for each student and their needs, to ignite a passion, love and appreciation for the art of dance and simply give each student an enjoyable experience.

ABOUT ASHLEY ALBERT

Ashley is a qualified and passionate dancer and teacher, striving to educate and ignite passion for dance amongst her students.

She has been dancing for 20 years, within these 20 years Ashley has been greatly successful completing all her RAD Ballet exams from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 obtaining a distinction in each exam, not to mention a result of 100% in her Grade 6 exam.

In 2006 Ashley was accepted into a training camp at the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York, in June of 2006 the Clarence Valley Council granted her a $500 donation in order for her to attend this camp. This then led to Ashley performing with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in 2006 and 2007 as a trainee soloist.

Ashley then went onto complete her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certificate in Ballet teaching studies. This 2 year course makes Ashley a qualified RAD teacher, giving her a deeper understanding of the RAD syllabus as well as the opportunity to become closer and more in touch with her students as she learns in great detail the steps of child development.

Ashley’s dance experience has instilled within her a love and appreciation for the art of dance which she wishes to share with her students.
