Hornsby Heights 2077 NSWFlute, Recorder, Musicianship Lessons for Kids
What do we do?
Adrienne Alexander offers warm, supportive flute, recorder and musicianship lessons for children, teens and adults, from complete beginners through to advanced and diploma-level students. With a strong focus on encouragement and enjoyment, her lessons help students build musical skills, confidence and a genuine love of music in a relaxed and positive learning environment.
With over 30 years of teaching experience and 20 years as an AMEB examiner, Adrienne brings deep knowledge and understanding to every lesson. Parents can feel confident knowing their child is learning from a highly qualified teacher who understands how to guide students step by step, while keeping lessons engaging and age-appropriate.
Lessons are carefully tailored to suit each student’s ability, pace and goals. Younger students are gently introduced to music through clear instruction and supportive guidance, helping them develop good technique, listening skills and musical awareness from the start. Older students and more advanced players are supported to refine their skills, build confidence in performance and prepare for exams when desired.
Adrienne is widely regarded as friendly, warm and encouraging, creating a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing at their own pace. Her teaching style helps children stay motivated and proud of their progress, while giving parents peace of mind that learning is happening in a nurturing and structured way.
Whether your child is just starting their musical journey or continuing to build on existing skills, Adrienne Alexander’s music lessons provide a supportive foundation for lifelong enjoyment and confidence in music.
