Access Tutoring

As a mum of three, I am passionate about enriching young minds. With over 35 years of teaching experience in education; as a learning support and classroom teacher, as well as various curriculum and executive roles; I foster an environment where students can feel safe to try, make mistakes and build self-confidence through encouragement and positive reassurance. Together, with my team, we aim to maximise your child's academic potential by extending their literacy and numeracy capabilities as they progress through school.

In 2021, I launched Access Tutoring; an individually-targeted program that provides assessment and guidance to students requiring revision, consolidation and extension within their learning. For some students, it's about guiding them through the structures of a rigid learning system, for others; it's about adapting to new routines. As technology progresses, we have been able to access students across Australia with 1-to-1 online private tutoring sessions.

Access Tutoring also offers small group face-to-face tuition. Our groups provide academic and social support with the opportunity for students to share, collaborate, ask questions and take risks in a relaxed environment of learning.

WHY ACCESS TUTORING?

We aim to strengthen students' academic competency, as well as assist in the development of their emotional wellbeing. We draw on strengths in order to build strategies towards improving weaknesses.

Students who enrol will acquire further understandings, skills and knowledge in numeracy and literacy.

We equip students with tools to achieve curriculum goals using standard frameworks and outcomes, enabling them to source their own learning.
