Academy Ballet is a Sydney ballet studio that offers a holistic, quality ballet education with a focus on the physical, emotional and spiritual development of our students. With a highly regarded 40 year history and one of the first RAD ballet schools in Australia, Director Sinead Vidler, a former student of AB herself, leads a team of internationally acclaimed ballet instructors, dedicated to seeing your child’s technique and character flourish.

★ Minis Ballet Classes

Ballet Classes for Toddlers through to PrePrimary

Our ballet classes for toddlers are taught in an all-inclusive environment with a focus on fun! Over the last 40 years we have crafted the perfect ballet class for your child to grow, combining the foundational traditions of classical ballet with creativity, musicality and joy.

Each kinder ballet class is a creative learning experience that your child will adore. They will develop coordination, musicality & rhythm, develop their gross motor skills, muscle memory and improve their posture – all whilst learning to love the art of ballet.

PRE BABYRINAS (My child is turning 3 by 1st Sept 2022)

The perfect introduction to ballet! Your child will delight in these dynamic, creative & musical ballet classes developing their love for ballet.

BABYRINAS (My child is turning 4 by 1st Sept 2022)

The Babyrinas class combines foundations of classical ballet with creativity & joy to bring out the best in your child. Musicality & rhythm are a big focus in this class.

PRE PRIMARY (My child is turning 5 by 1st Sept 2022)

PrePrimary is the first official level of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Building on the foundations of ballet your child will develop technically & confidently.

★ School Age Ballet Classes

Primary to Grade II

Classes are based upon your child’s age from Primary (6 years) to Grade II (8 years), building upon and developing the foundations of classical ballet. Your child will hone their ballet technique through their RAD syllabus classes.

Grade III to V

Watch your child’s passion for dance explode during their higher grade years. With unparalleled access to live accompaniment and a world class faculty in combination with like-minded passionate friends, Academy Ballet will become your child’s home away from home.

Inter Foundation to Adv 2

As your teenager navigates their way through high school you will be thankful for the safe & nurturing environment we have crafted for them here at AB. Their technique will continue to develop, their friendships will become deeper and you will see your little caterpillar growing into a strong & beautiful butterfly.
