3sisters Youth Theatre
Leura 2780 NSWCreated to educate students in the fundamentals of performing arts, and allow them to explore and develop their creative skills in a fun and nurturing environment.
What do we do?
3 Sisters Youth Theatre was formed in 2014 in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
It was created to educate students in the fundamentals of performing arts, and allow them to explore and develop their creative skills in a fun and nurturing environment.
More recently, 3 Sisters Youth Theatre has expanded to include training in Film and Television for young actors, writers, directors and technical crew members.
We have the support of local industry professionals, who are always happy to pass on their skills and passion. We’re also supported by the local community and businesses.
★ MUSICAL THEATRE & THEATRE CLASS
We offer theatre performance classes as a creative outlet for young people.
All students work and rehearse toward a performance in front of a live audience each year.
No theatre experience is necessary to attend classes.
The creative team instill the basic performance skills that develop not only professional performance attitude, but self-esteem, teamwork and discipline.
We encourage a sense of community and commitment from our students. In accepting a role in a play, they are expected to agree to their own commitment contract, which their parent(s) witness. It’s an agreement that reinforces a sense of ownership, and empowers each performer to take responsibility for the success of the performance.
