    Bushbugs (Ages 2–3 Years)
    Gentle beginnings for curious little explorers

    Welcome to Bushbugs — a nurturing, nature-based class designed especially for our youngest explorers aged 2 to 3. Rooted in wonder and guided by gentle rhythms, each 60-minute session invites toddlers to explore the natural world through sensory play, outdoor discovery, simple crafts, and calming rituals.

    With a slower pace and smaller hands in mind, we guide children through age-appropriate activities that support emerging independence, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory integration — all while fostering a connection to the earth.

    Each week we investigate a new nature-based theme — from seeds and trees to rocks, water, and weather — with a thoughtfully prepared space that includes touch-and-feel discovery stations, nature craft, and outdoor play (weather permitting).

    Parents and caregivers are gently involved throughout the session, supporting bonding and modelling safe exploration. Come rain or shine, we’ll make memories in mud, magic, and mindfulness.

    Activities include:
    • Weekly themed exploration (e.g. “Tiny Seed, Big Tree” or “Rockin’ Nature”)
    • Guided nature play and sensory discovery
    • Gentle movement and rhythm-based group games
    • Craft tailored to toddler development
    • Storytime, singing, and sticker moments to close

    A beautiful introduction to nature-based play, with a rhythm your little one will thrive in.

    By booking this event, you are reserving a place in the full 9-week course at the same time each week. If your child is unwell, we kindly ask that you keep them home to protect the health of the group. While we will do our best to accommodate make-up sessions where possible, please understand that due to the small, boutique nature of our classes, we may not be able to offer catch-ups, and missed sessions may be forfeited.
