- These Summer Holidays Waves are running their EPIC day trip Surf Camps.
As well as an amazing day outdoors and away from devices, moving, running, laughing and having fun, here's what else is included on a Waves Surf Camp.

TIMES - 8:30am-4pm
WAVES KIDS DAY CAMPS - SUITABLE FOR 9-14 years
The primary focus of the camp is teaching and improving surfing. Depending on the conditions on the days of the camp, there may also be some onland surf sessions (on Smoothstar Skate Boards), Skate boarding / scootering and other adventure activities.
WHERE WE GO
Trips are run at Boat Harbour Park - a private access beach 40mins south of Bronte. The waves are crowd free, ensuring more safety in the water. On days where conditions are too big, the Waves team have some secret surf spots that they go to, ensuring the day can still run.
HOW WE GET THERE
Leaving from Bronte, kids are transported in the Waves Bus - a Toyota Coaster.
LUNCH
FRUIT & LUNCH PROVIDED - Beach BBQ, sandwiches & fruit are on the menu.
THE SURFING
Open to all levels, from first time groms to gnarly carvers, kids will come home with a bag of new skills. Lessons will be given on the beach, in the waves (and some days at the skatepark).

RAINY DAYS & MAJOR WEATHER EVENTS
We operate on rainy days! (We're getting wet anyways, right?) We do build a cozy shelter to protect the group from the elements - sun, rain, wind - as safety & comfort are priorities. In the case of HUGE Surf conditions - we know a number of protected spots that allow us to run safely in most conditions - decisions to cancel the event due to weather will be made on the morning of each camp.
*A minimum of 6 students required to run.
CANCELLATION POLICY
*100% credit for class rescheduled by Waves Surf School
*85% refund or 100% credit on cancellations made > 7 days prior to activity
*50% credit on cancellations made < 7 days and > 48hours prior to the activity
*No refund or credit available for cancellations made <48hours prior to activity
