Overview
- Wander in Wonder is a bush school where children of all ages form relationships with each other and the world around them.
We get dirty, we fall, we create, we walk, we scramble over rocks, and we explore our connections to nature.
We learn to belong and care for our environment, we are enabled to be ourselves, and become who we want to be.
We gather during the school holidays, in every type of weather, at Cooper Park in Woollahra.
And we are looking forward to playing together these holidays!

Wander in Wonder is a bush school, meaning that children and educators are outdoors learning and forming relationships with each other and the world.
We run a holiday program in Cooper Park for children between the ages of 3 and 12. We get dirty, we fall, we get bitten by mosquitoes, we climb trees, scramble over rocks and we live in connection to nature. These activities allow us to belong and care for our environment, we are enabled to be ourselves and become who we would like to be.
The children of Wander in Wonder are given the opportunity to follow their whims and curiosity, so no day is ever the same. The children lead and the educators support, ensuring the children's safety and a respect for the environment and the wider community. As their educators, we watch them socialise, problem solve, learn and explore, work together, go through hard times, go through wonderful times, climb higher than they have before, work things out together, build, share, create, balance, fall and get up, help each other, play and relax and we just love it! Having said that, our days do generally follow a loose structure.

It’s my son’s favourite holiday activity. Such a beautiful opportunity for kids to spend time playing in nature with no agenda.
