- Welcome to Term 3!
At The Music Suite our music program is taught through play: singing, moving and playing instruments, all of which are natural to your child’s environment. They will learn the fundamentals of music which meet the Early Learning Years Framework. Our program prepares your child to progress their music learning to an instrument and being confident in the school classroom.
In our Baby and Todddler classes - music is delivered gently in a calm environment. Explore new sounds, listen to musical stories, nursery rhymes and experience rhythm and chants. Children will safely touch, feel and listen to new instruments with the guidance of their teacher and caregiver.
Experience puppet and vocal play as well as movement with sensory objects like scarves and ribbons. Great activities you can continue at home to encourage movement and musical recognition.
* Caregivers must be present and participate with their child for all classes. Participation will vary as children get older.
