Our ConStruct program is a fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) class for children who love to build, tinker, create and construct!
Kids at this age are just starting to develop teamwork skills, and although this is a major key learning area running throughout the Fox Blocks STEM program, it is a specific focus in our ConStruct class. With more helpers we can tackle much bigger projects than we can complete on our own!
✨ Term 4, 2024 - Our Town - Civil Engineering & Town Planning
○ Learn to build some of the structures we find in a town. ○ Places to Live, Places to Shop, Places for Fun, Transport, Emergency Services, Construction Cranes, and more. ○ We will dive into the principles of town planning and civil engineering and make our structures strong and stable. ○ Come along and work together in teams as we learn to solve problems of strength, placement, and transport.
Children must meet the minimum Grade requirement before enrolling in a class at Flying Fox Studios. This is our standard policy across all classes, programs, and age groups. This class is for children who are currently attending in 2024 Prep, Grade 1 or Grade 2 (or home school equivalent).

Fox Blocks is an innovative hands on engineering & construction program for kids. Foster skills, knowledge and a love of learning in the areas of construction, engineering, science, math and technology, Fox Blocks is one of Brisbane's longest running STEM focused kids extracurricular activities.

Kindermusik at Flying Fox Studios is a community of families and teachers passionately committed to bringing music to children's lives through developmentally appropriate curricula, CDs, books, instruments, and activities for our classes and for family time at home.

⭐ Holiday Workshops (4 to 17 years)
Come and join the Flying Fox Studios team for a fun, creative and original holiday workshop program. Workshops are offered for a wide range of topics such as painting, engineering, science, design, drawing, and craft.
School holiday workshops at Flying Fox Studios are unique in every way. Over the last 18 years we have developed an original style, where learning and fun are always combined. We explore all our concepts in a creative and hands on way, with experienced educators leading the kids in imagination and discovery.
Across all our workshops, whether it be an art class, an engineering session, or a makerspace workshop, we ensure focus on creativity, imagination, and skill building is central and always fun.
⭐About Us
Flying Fox Studios is a small business that has seen a generation of students pass through since the doors were first opened in 2006.
Our creative team also run an amazing little store on site and online called STEAM Kids, from which profits are put back into development of the programs offered to our local community.
We offer a free trial class in all our term length programs. While not available during the first week of any term, we would love to have you come along and try out one of our fabulous programs.
