- Perfect for the busy family after school surfing is one of our most popular programs.
After school surfing starts Term 3 22/08/22 to 23/09/22 it’s a 5 week program at $235. We honour one make up lesson if your child is sick or a valid reason for not participating.
Your child will be picked up from school in the Surf School minibus at 3:00 pm provide a nutritious afternoon tea meal followed by a fun, educational, and interactive surf lesson.
We pick up from Pottsville Beach Primary School, Bogangar Primary School, St Ambrose Primary School, Kingscliff, and St Anthony’s Primary Schools. Please note Kingscliff zone is Tuesday and Thursday only.
The program is based at Hastings point “Boat Shed” where we have access to fantastic facilities including shelter and toilets. Our program runs from 3pm to 5pm. You will need to pick your child up from the Boatshed at 5pm.
We do prefer your child to have participated in a structured surf lesson or program prior to enrolling in our after school surfing program, if your unsure please contact us first before hand.
Tweed Coast Surf School offers a range of surfing and water-based sports programs all year round for persons of all ages.
All programs are tailored for the school and age of the participants. Our programs are run in conjunction with Surfing Australia’s Safe Surfing Program and the NSW Education Department Risk Assessment guidelines.
The Tweed Coast has some of the safest locations for learning to surf and water sports in Australia.

★ Private Lessons
Let the coaching staff provide you specialized guidance and V.I.P treatment with tried and tested techniques to get you catching waves, standing up, and riding waves. With one of the best learn to surf locations in Australia and the most experienced coaching staff in the region you are guaranteed to learn in a safe and fun environment.
We teach you about surf safety and surf awareness, basic fitness for surfing, paddling, standing, and catching waves.
★ Group Lessons
Daily group surfing lessons are a great way to get up and onto your first wave! Plus it’s a great way to meet new friends who share your sense of adventure. You get all the “hands-on” help you’ll need to build up your confidence in the water.
We teach you about surf safety and surf awareness, basic fitness for surfing, paddling, standing, and catching waves.
★ Holiday Lessons
We teach you about surf safety and surf awareness, basic fitness for surfing, paddling, standing, and catching waves.
★ Birthday Parties
Book a birthday party at the shed. BBQ, Fishing, SUP, Bodyboards are all available for usage. Let us teach your kids to surf then supervise the other watersports in the creek as you prepare the lunch and birthday cake.
