- LEARN TO DRAW REALISM LIKE A PRO - Join us in Term 4 and give your creative kids a head start in the art world as they learn professional skills with our weekly drawing classes. This isn't free-drawing or a "bit of fun" class. We've spent 5 years developing our drawing classes to ensure they meet professional standards. At Paint With Me, we meet each artist where they are; making our classes perfect for beginners, intermediate, advanced, or even casual artists.
Learning to draw with us starts each artist's journey to get to where they want to be as they have FUN whilst learning age appropriate techniques and theory needed to master the best drawing practices in the biz. We help kids to build confidence, cultivate feedback/critique skills, and shine a light on their individual creativity.
Each term teaches a different branch of drawing. Term 3 was all about character design! This term, we're taking it to another level with a program focused on REALISM!
In Term 4, kids will work to develop their realism drawing skills through learning foundational techniques, important art and design theory (such as complex perspective, negative space, subject and environment composition, capturing accurate texture and surface, light, and more), and will be engaging their minds and artistic skills in social, engaging, fun, and educationally rigorous classes.

- Eloise, the owner of Paint With Me, is a dedicated teacher who gives detailed guidance, individualised feedback, attention, and energy equally to each and every student.
- Every student receives sketchbooks and professional quality tools to keep!
- Small class size ensuring everyone gets the learning experience they deserve
- Weekly classes for kids aged 8-12
- Classes run for 1 hour each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO
- Accurately and expertly create realistic images in pencil. You will be AMAZED when you see your little artist draw realistic glass, fabric, reflections, fur, hair, and landscapes. And yes, they really will be able to!
- Observe and use perspective in effective, impressive ways to convey dynamic qualities and harness advanced creative thinking in their work
- Learn modern and classical art theory that supports and strengthens in-school learning
- Use realistic shading, depth, and dimension-building to deepen values, drama, expression, and artistry in their drawings
- Interpret complex subject matters into measurable success through diverse techniques and age appropriate exercises

Each of our students learn in an individually tailored way. They're taught by a professional artist, from each other, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, from themselves! We give each student the tools to follow their interests in a classroom built for SUCCESS!
