Cartoon Kingdom is a cartooning & educational company based in Sydney & has 39 years experience in programs with children in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Hawaii, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, USA & Canada.
CLASSES
★ Class 1: Monday January 30th 9am - 1pm
• Theme: Tropical. Dress in colourful clothes, Hawaiian or tropical. Prizes for best dressed.
• Draw: Beginners cartooning Part 1.
• Draw: A frog, snake & a turtle.
• Play: The paper mummy game.
• Draw: Animated food.
• Draw: A tropical island.
• Draw: Cartoon insects.
• Enjoy: Tropical fruit mocktails.
• Play: Balloon skirmish - rob the nest.
• Competition: Build a tower with spaghetti & marshmallows.
• Make: The worlds best paper plane.
• Design: A baseball cap. We will supply the caps.
• Competition: Design a candy packet. Win USA candy!
★ Class 2: Monday January 30th 1pm - 5pm
• Theme: Tropical. Dress in colourful clothes, Hawaiian or tropical. Prizes for best dressed.
• Learn: Amazing facts about the solar system & beyond.
• Draw: Famous cartoon robots.
• Play: The exciting game ‘Charge’.
• Make: Balloon sculpture animals.
• Competition: Design & win a watch.
• Draw: A detailed castle & palace.
• Make: Decorate & eat doughnuts.
• Play: The fun squishy game.
• Draw: Beginners cartooning Part 2.
• Lego:TM Competition - make LegoTM towers.
• Make over: Get your hair coloured & make-up done.
• Competition: Design a flying car - win a real drone.
★ Class 3: Monday January 30th 5pm - 9pm (Night Camp)
• Theme: Messy clothes & hair. Prizes for the ‘worst’ dressed.
• Draw: Beginners cartooning Part 3.
• Draw: Cute animals.
• Make: Clay model food.
• Enjoy: Rainbow biscuits.
• Draw: Australian animals.
• Play: The Piñata game.
• Treasure hunt: Find the treasure in the park.
• Slime: Make fun green gooey oobleck slime!
• Play: The shaving cream battle if you want to!
• Play: Murder the dark. The best game ever!
• Nerf gun battle: Bring your own gear.
• Play: Sock wrestling & space jump.
○ All activities will be in the hall & surrounding grounds or local park.
○ Canteen: Inexpensive drinks & snacks will be available daily. Meal Deals are $8.
○ Children need to bring a bag & hat to our activities.
○ Notify staff if your child has special needs or requires medication to be administered.
○ We cater for 4 to 15 years: (Juniors, Intermediates & Seniors) In QLD children need to be aged 5+
○ Our team: Have Working with Children Checks’ & first aid training.
○ Sun policy: Please provide your child/children with a hat & sunscreen to wear for our outside activities.
○ Policy on children’s belongings / lost property: All care is taken but we take no responsibility for loss or l l l
○ damage to belongings. At 6pm at the end of our week program - lost property is donated to charity.
○ Parent/Guardians: May drop off their children. They are not allowed to stay in the hall for legal & insurance reasons. They may enter the hall at the end of the day to pick up their children.
○ Policy on late pickups: We close our service at 6pm unless specified. A late fee applies at the rate of $1 per minute paid directly to that carer at the time of pickup.
○ Policy on behaviour: We have the right to refuse a child if their behaviour is deemed disruptive to our l program. No refund will be offered.
○ Policy on cancellations & refunds: We regret that under no circumstances are we able to provide a refund in the event of cancellation or non-attendance of the child. The credit can be gifted to another child as long as the attendance occurs the week the current camp is running. If the absence is Covid related, the credit can be held for one year.
○ Mobile phones/cameras: Due to privacy laws, photographic & recording devices are prohibited from our programs. Mobile phones can be brought but must be off during activities.
○ Nuts: Nuts or foods containing nuts are strictly prohibited from our program.
