Overview
- Looking for a fun and engaging holiday activity?
These October holidays, join us for one or two days of fun, creativity, and performance magic. Kids will work together to create, rehearse, and star in their very own recorded play, sent to families after the workshop to keep forever. Students are divided into two groups, Juniors (K-2) and Seniors (3-6) and some activities are combined.
All staff are professional, WWCC and Police Checked teachers, passionate about helping children shine on stage.
A Play in a Day
Dates: Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th October, 2025
Times: 9am–3pm (Free Before & After Care: 8.30am–4.30pm)
Location: All Saints Hall, 85 Ocean St, Woollahra
It’s a fun and creative way for kids to spend the holidays – packed with drama games, improvisation, teamwork, and performance magic. By the end of the day, they’ll star in their very own recorded play, sent to families to keep forever.
What to Expect:
Students are split into two age groups, enjoying a mix of whole-group activities and tailored sessions just for their age level.
Juniors (Kindy – Year 2)
– Drama games and improvisation
– Create and perform your own scene in the end-of-day play
– Arts and crafts – make props and set pieces
– Build confidence and teamwork in a playful, supportive space
Seniors (Year 3 – Year 6)
– Lead roles in our play
– Drama games and improvisation to sharpen skills
– Learn stagecraft, characterisation, and storytelling
– Collaborate to create and perform a brand new play in one day
Can we watch?
To foster independence and confidence, we ask that parents do not sit in on classes or our workshops. Students learn best when engaging directly with their peers, and parental presence can sometimes be distracting. The recorded performance will give you a glimpse of the fun your child has had and the skills they’ve built throughout the day.
