This term is all about confidence, creativity, and connection.
Our Teen Creators class blends drawing, painting, and mixed media to help students develop technical skills while exploring their own artistic voice. Each project encourages curiosity and self-expression — from dynamic horses to fantasy characters and expressive portraits — with time for free choice and creative play. Along the way, we weave in gentle mindset chats and positive “pep talks” to build resilience and remind every young artist that their perspective matters.
Teaching advanced elements of drawing with close attention to detail, technique and materials. Students are guided step-by-step to complete a different artwork each week, covering a variety of subject matter and materials. Lessons start with popular warm-up drawing games such as speed drawing and blind drawing.
The focus is on fun and confidence-building while deepening those neural pathways, as well as providing some quality off-screen time!
This class will learn with Graphite & Coloured Pencils; Black-line Markers; Soft pastels and Watercolours.

These weekly after school classes are a commitment for the 9-week school term. Bookings are essential.
Term fees are $345 + gst to be paid in full before the term commences unless otherwise agreed. For missed classes, make-up classes are offered in another class held during the same term.
Content: Covering a variety of subjects using the three main types of drawing – Observation, Memory and Imagination. Lessons in Realistic, Still-Life, Animated Characters, Fantasy and Perspective Drawing.
