



Overview
- A structured senior class providing formal art instruction for pre-teen creators.
Teaching advanced elements of drawing with close attention to detail, technique and materials. Students are guided step-by-step to complete a different artwork each week, covering a variety of subject matter and materials. Lessons start with popular warm-up drawing games such as speed drawing and blind drawing.
The focus is on fun and confidence-building while deepening those neural pathways, as well as providing some quality off-screen time!
This class will learn with Graphite & Coloured Pencils; Black-line Markers; Soft pastels and Watercolours.
These weekly after school classes are a commitment for the 9-week school term. Bookings are essential. Term fees are to be paid in full before the term commences unless otherwise agreed. Art materials are not supplied. For missed classes, make-up classes are offered in another class held during the same term.
Content: Covering a variety of subjects using the three main types of drawing – Observation, Memory and Imagination. Lessons in Realistic, Still-Life, Animated Characters, Fantasy and Perspective Drawing.
