Overview
- Theme: Science & Wonder
Duration: 1.5 hours
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Recommended Age: 5–12 years
🫧 Activity Overview
n this hands-on creative science session, children will dive into the whimsical world of Decoden - a Japanese-inspired decorative art that mimics the texture and look of whipped cream. Using a piping technique similar to icing a cake, students will decorate their own wooden photo frame with Decoden “cream,” pastel embellishments, and candy-themed resin pieces.
Children will be guided to create layered textures and design balance while experimenting with colours and decorative arrangements. While deeply creative, this activity also introduces light chemistry principles through the use of air-curing mediums and adhesive properties—making it a perfect blend of science and art.
