Ready Set Move is a creative movement and music class for toddlers and their grownup. The class consists of 3 sections – ENGAGE, EXPLORE AND EXPRESS.
The ENGAGE section is a playful exploration of music, nursery rhymes, lap play and parachute fun.
The EXPLORE section is set up as a circuit around the room with obstacles like stepping stones, tunnels and sensory activities designed to encourage investigation and build coordination skills.
The EXPRESS section of the class involves free dance movement which develops creativity with instruments, feathers and bubbles.
Join our community and learn new ways to interact with your toddler. Young children at this age are in the period of highest brain growth and development in their lifespan.
Participating in READY SET MOVE with the support of a grown up can make a significant contribution to play, development and learning. So come and bounce like a bunny, be slow like a sloth and create memories with your special little mover.

Dance Evolution has a proud history of nurturing talent, building confidence, and creating a vibrant community through dance. Originally established in 2011 as JDC Studios, our vision was simple: to create a welcoming space where dancers of all ages and abilities could thrive. Over the years, we became known for high‑quality training, passionate instructors, and a strong sense of family.
In 2024, after more than a decade of growth and transformation, we rebranded as Dance Evolution—a name that reflects our journey and commitment to evolving alongside the dreams of our dance family. Today, we are one of Melbourne’s premier training grounds for dance, aerial arts, musical theatre, and performing arts disciplines.

Our students have performed in tribute shows like the Katy Perry Tribute Show, Gaga Magic, and The Ultimate Kylie Show, and appeared in national and international TV commercials for brands such as Toyota, Target, and K‑Mart. Alumni have secured roles on popular Australian TV series including Neighbours and Winners and Losers, while others have starred in musical theatre productions like Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan.
Beyond Australia, our dancers have performed at Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi, featured in Kidz Fashion Week in Sydney and Melbourne, and appeared on stages such as The Voice Australia, X Factor, Australia’s Got Talent, and even America’s Got Talent.
