    Our Next Free Taster Classes are on Saturday 27th May at Steps 2 Stardom Studios in Smeaton Grange
    You will get to talk to the teachers and office staff before and after the class and there are some wonderful special and exclusive offers that will be available on the day only.

    10:45am - 11:30am - Ready Set Move (18months - 2.5yrs)
    11:45am - 12:45pm - Ready Set Dance & Ready Set Ballet (2yrs 3months - 5yrs - not at school yet)

    READY SET MOVE - is a creative movement and music class for toddlers and their grown up from approx. 18 months to 3years of age. (The child should be fairly confident at walking)

    READY SET BALLET is 30 minute magical ballet experience for approx 2 – 5yrs old who ready to participate in class without their grown up. This beautiful class is where they learn the fundamentals of classical ballet.
    MUSIC – Engage in specifically designed music that captures the beauty of classical ballet.
    CURRICULUM – Develop coordination, body awareness, strength and flexibility both through visual and auditory instruction.
    MIME – Explore creativity and gain confidence by going on a picnic with FREEZE and TWIRL, riding the tutu train to storybook lane and so much more.
    THEMED DANCES – Learn the beautifully themed dances that have music prompts to support preschooler’s playful participation.
    PROPS – Have fun twirling with rainbow ribbons, swaying with feathers and popping bubbles. These resources support tactile awareness and strengthen fine motor coordination and control.

    READY SET DANCE is a one hour combo class of JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC. Designed for both boys and girls from approx 2 – 5yrs old who ready to participate in class without their grown up. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of dance while developing confidence, coordination and creativity in a professional and safe environment.
    JAZZ – Develop muscle strength, control and balance and achieve coordination milestones like skipping before going to school.
    HIP HOP – Bust out some ice cold moves just like FREEZE to our original hip hop tracks.
    MUSIC – Develop the musical ear, dynamics and tempo while having fun with instruments and the parachute.
    SINGING – Sing like TWIRL and build confidence singing on the microphone.
    TAP – Learn the fundamentals of tap in a playful and creative way splashing in puddles and shuffling like a penguin. All these ingredients together create a super hour of fun.

Steps 2 Stardom has been a beloved part of the Macarthur community since its establishment in 1994 by sisters Cathryn and Annette Hill. Starting in Ambarvale, the studio has blossomed into a trusted, friendly, and professional establishment located at Smeaton Grange, boasting four fantastic dance studios, a canteen, and facilities for uniforms and dance shoes, all aimed at making life easier for families.


Our Programs


READY SET DANCE offers engaging classes tailored for young children. READY SET MOVE is designed for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years and includes three fun sections: ENGAGE, where children explore music and play; EXPLORE, which features circuits with sensory activities to build coordination; and EXPRESS, encouraging creativity through free dance and movement.


READY SET DANCE is a one-hour combo class that introduces children aged 2-5 to jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, and music in a professional and safe environment, helping them build confidence and coordination. READY SET BALLET offers a magical ballet experience for children aged 2-5, teaching the fundamentals of classical ballet.


In addition, we offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, AcroDance, and Musical Theatre. Our classes focus on essential techniques while preparing students for concerts, ensuring a well-rounded dance education.


For those looking to elevate their skills, we have specialised classes like Stretch & Strengthen, Kicks, Turns & Leaps, and Troupe & Solos for competitive dancers. The DanceStep program is available for students at Gold Level 2 and above, promoting leadership skills and community involvement.
